Classes & Workshops

Co-Operative Sessions

On Monday (during the day) and on Thursday evenings and afternoons there are a number of quilters who come to the center to work on their current project.  This is a great opportunity, not only to work on your project but to draw on the expertise of those around and enjoy a modern “quilting bee” atmosphere.

Classes are offered by the Art Centre.
The Art Centre arranges for local talented quilting instructors to offer quilting classes at the Centre.  These classes may be for one day, several days or multiple evenings.   The Art Centre newsletters will provide registration details and cheques should be made payable to the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre.

Workshops are offered by the Guild
The guild arranges for and subsidizes well known quilting artists from throughout Canada and the U.S. to share their expertise and inspire members to explore new and different techniques for quilting.  Traditionally these instructors bring a trunk show which is presented at the monthly meeting and the workshops are offered for the days immediately following the meeting.  The Workshop Co-Ordinator will announce the registration requirements and cheques should be made payable to Oxford Quilters’ Guild.
